Ovation
OVATION loves to sing and to share our gift of song with audiences and in competition. We are committed in our goal to strive for excellence in singing and our proud of the Area 1 Championship title we won in 2009. We are also thrilled to be qualifiers in the International Quartet Contest for a second year. Our repertoire offers an entertaining variety of song styles and we are available for singing engagements large and small. Please contact Mary at (902) 659-2596. These four women first gathered for an evening of singing and ringing chords early in 2006. They liked what they heard, decided to meet weekly when schedules didn’t interfere and have continued to do so on a fairly regular basis. Chord Fusion is strictly a novice quartet, with no plans to hit the contest stage. They would rather sing for friends, at church services, and in nursing homes and have managed to build a repertoire that lends itself to these goals.
Chord Fusion brings a total of 95 barbershop singing years in choruses and various quartets to their quartet performances.
